Coachella is one of today’s largest festivals in music and culture. The fashion and art of the festival often sets new trends, not only are people and celebrities from across the world who come from all over the globe.   In 1993, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster feuded over venues, actually began Coachella’s origins almost 30 years ago.

When did Coachella start?

In October 1999, the very first festival took place in Indio, California. Even though the co-founders lost money (one day’s ticket prices were $50). The festival came back in 2001 for a day, while Coachella was a two-day event between 2002 and 2006. It was a 3-day event in 2007. This is a three-day event which takes place in April on two consecutive weekends.

Over the years, Coachella’s art and fashion have become increasingly outrageous. In the early days, Burning Man had remained in art and sculpture. However, the budget for original and commissioned items increased by 2010. Nowadays, art is just as necessary as music.

Going to Coachella

Be able to sit down in front of your computer to start the sale if you want to go to Coachella. In about an hour this event is usually sold out. As for accommodation, there are both campgrounds and luxurious areas to avoid all the hustle and bustle.
